Hi and welcome to virtual thoughts. This blog is a channel for the compmed class to send the three weekly posts required from each of them during the entire term. The 3 posts include the following: a comment or reaction on the class discussion or topic for the week, a comment on at least one of the posts sent by any member of the class or any guest, and a personal post on any topic of their choice or a brief reflection on any cyberspace experience experienced.

At least twice a week, check on Virtual Thoughts. Also experiment with brief comments, floating ideas, responding to people, asking questions etc. Write and interact with the class; don't just post things and ignore them. Whenever appropriate, try to link an observation to class readings or discussions. Feel free to link one's observation to to the observation of a fellow student, so that the online postings become a "Thread" of linked observations, rather than just a jumble of individual, separate comments.

The names of the class members and guest appears under the heading Contributors. Only those registered under contributors will be allowed to write or send a post. Whereas, the heading Links features selected sites and blogs which are take-offs for class discussions.

Congratulations, to the first contributor who sent the first post last week (you know who you are). With this post, I enjoin the rest of the class to start sending in their posts so we can start to have threads.
